Lavender and Wooly Bears

Sometimes pictures are prettier than words:

 Took my first harvest from our lavender that was planted this spring.

The Wooly Bears are out!

According to folklore, this little guy had about half his body in brown segments, 

so we should have a pretty normal winter.
